I don't see where the big problem is:
1. rpmrebuild --edit-whole -p skype-2.1.0.81-fc10.i586.rpm
2. comment the line with "Requires qt4-x11", and then install the resulting rpm.

been a user and quickly set one up on a VM, although I'd like to lear

I say if people subscribe to everything blindly it serves them right
to get bombarded with email. Sure put a warning on the subscription
page but hiding some mailing lists by not having them showing up in
drupal removes the point of that interface...

Are you aware that gaming has very little to do with XBMC? The only
'gaming' part of XBMC is the original platform (which has just been
dropped).
