Hint: cpan2rpm. There should be also some yum repo's that stock with
cpan modules that are already processed.

Imho, ctrl+shift+R should be changed to something else. maybe to alt
+shift-l. Rationale for this is that ctrl+shift shortcut is a default
shortcut in Xeph

Did you point DISPLAY variable to proper Xephyr display ? Metacity
propably runs on :0 so, setup Xephyr on :
