Actually no success with those images which I built using image creator.
Now actually I tried with another prebuilt image downloaded from the
following link:
http://repo.meego.com/MeeGo/builds/1.0.80/handset/images/meego-handset-armv7l-n900/
flashed using cmd:

I'm not sure if this is necessary but when i change the kick-start
file, i also cleared the content in the cache folder which is give for
meego-image creator. i think the script picks the latest version of

Hi,
are the options which I give to the flasher command proper?
cmd:# ./flasher -l -b -k is what I use
One more thing is, I was able to flash a prebuilt kernel image which had, a
meego image without handset UX

you did the following?
added the following to rc.local in mmc card before the flash:
echo 255 > /sys/class/backlight/acx565akm/brightness
to put this in after the image is written to the mmc, connect the N900
as storage device and exit it or you can mount it within the N900 to
edit it.

Found some messages like,
try e2fsck command
mmcblk0p1 mounting fs with errors
not sure if sharing the kickstart is against any policy, so here what i did:

http://forum.meego.com/showthread.php?p=5828

wrong in the daily build for N900 UX.
Thx
