I simulate a structure made from dielectric (without active material). I use a
pulse and put PML at all sides, but the field blew up at last. (set!
eps-averaging? false) can't help. The version of meep is 0.10.1.

Meep should compile with any standard-conforming MPI implementation.
Don't worry about compiler warnings; can you give an example of a
compiler error?
