In any Gaussian beam, the amplitude depends both on the propagation and transversal direction But I can not see both of them (propagation and transversal direction) in the following description given in meep forum pages, why? * http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.science.electromagnetism.meep.general/77/focus=78 *<http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.science.electromagnetism.meep.general/77/focus=78> I am using a 2-D simulation here (in x-y plane) Maybe two arguments ( propagation and transversal direction) should be given in to the (define (my-amp ...)..) and (amp-func property). I try this one but it does not work. Does that amp-func allow only one parameter? Someone knows much about scheme can answer this?
