True nobility lies in being superior to your former self.

Hi Meepers,
I have placed a metal plate at 0.25 feet and the source is at the center
(origin).
I am sending a gaussian pulse through the source.
The reciever (in-point function is used) is considered to be just adjacent
to source.
I am trying to convert this h5 output to text and plotting it in oc
former self.

Dear Meepers,
I have a gaussian source at the center (origin) and the cutoff is set to 1
so that it just emits one gaussian monocycle (derivative of gaussian) .. but
the images i am seeing of the electric fields are bit different
I expected them to be symmetric wrt any line passing through o
oh sorry
units went for the toss in the mail below
a is 1e-2 in p210.ctl file which is ONE CENTIMETER
a is 1e-3 in p210-micron.ctl file which is ONE MILLIMETER
Forgive me please for those mistakes in the mail ...
Thanks,
Lokesh

Dear Meepers,
I have attached a couple of ctl files ...
The only difference between those two is the choice of "a" ( the meep unit )
In p210.ctl "a" is 1 mm and in p210-micron "a" is 1 micron ...
Rest are all the same ...
p210.ctl gives meaningful output and p210-micron gives black images.

Hi Meepers,
Has any one tried implementing a Gaussian Doublet Source..?
or any other source in Scheme?
Please share your experience on that aspect.
Thanks in advance,
