Dear Mischa, you suggest Kadir to use the shape of the mode he desire as the
spatial amplitude for an extended source. I've read the meep-tutor and study
some examples
of meep's ctl file and I haven't find the proper way to set the spacial
distribution
of field (of source exactly) for example

Thank you for help with infinity problem!
But we now cannot install meep-1.0.3 on Cygwin because of Segmentation fault
which I've wrote about in recent previous letter with the sublect
`[Meep-discuss] meep - make check - error '.
With Regards, Sasha.
Hello! I'm still try to compile and install
meep-1.0.3 under cygwin.
When I do 'make chek', i see such error.
Who can explain why it appears?

Hi, everybody. Hi, Shawkat.
Check if libiconv, libtool, gmp-devel packages are in your system.
It was the similar problem, when I recently try to
compileinstall libClt package.
With Respect,
Alexandr.

Steven G. Johnson:
Hi!
I am having a problem with meep installation on cygwin platform.
When 'make check' is working, the error appears during the
'bragg_transmission' test:
bragg_transmission.cpp:186: error: `infinity' undeclared (first use
this function)
I see that infinity is declared in meep.hpp,

Hello!
I have a question about MPI on intel-quad and intel-core2duo processors:
can we achieve more productivity by use mpi-support (e.g. lam-mpi pack) with
mpb program?
Thank you.
