Dear meep users,
I have a question about oblique angle wave propagation from Gaussian source in
a wide range of frequency. as i checked related questions and meep discussion
files I found that there is a way to do it for very narrow frequency range to
make plane wave; it can be done for
Dear meep users,
sorry for resending this email but, my problem is not solved yet. I am trying
to find reflection flux from a piece of multilayer. there is a problem with
load-minus-flux refl-flux refl and save-flux refl-flux refl
comments; the simulation works without them.
Also, I have
Dear Meep users,
I have problem in reflection flux from a slab of
dielectric. I changed my file into very simple example however, it is
not working yet. Could you please let me to know where the problem is?
I have always this comment after run.
creating output file ./1-refl-flux.h5...
Dear Dr. Steven and meep users,
I tried to find properties of dispersive material. I have some experimental
data which I used them to find properties from analytical approach. it works
well for materials with low dielectric constant like 2 or even 4 but it did not

reply to arbitrary epsilon function.
I had the same problem. you can first find the omega_n and Omega, sigma_n, and
Gama_n from your data or plot. then, check it with matlab (use the same
equation as it is written in MIT-material introduction for Lorentz and Drud
model). afterward, you can
Dear Meep users,
I am trying to simulate transmission or reflection flux of solar
spectrum AM1.5 from a multilayer mirror. does anyone know how can I
simulate solar spectrum?
