Memcached 1.4.8 is up: http://memcached.org - Cache long and prosper! New features, important fixes, interesting counters.
I caught one important bug inbetween the -rc and now, where binprot gets weren't updating the LRU. If you rely on the binary protocol, you probably want this update. Also the rest of the stuff we added/fixed are totally fawesome. -Dormando
