I proposed a BoF at the MySQL Conference to get the memcached users,
client and server authors together. It has been accepted so Tuesday the
13th, we'll have a BoF and
memcache-1.4.5 now available in updates-testing for Fedora 12 and 13.

the -rc routine since this release is very late and contains only minor
bugfixes and one new statistic.
