only user/pass in case users should be useful roles in the future, but for now they're just blind tokens; everyone gets the same access. need to decide on the SET method or switching to a GET command, else the rest are small TODO items. I'd like to release this ASAP. In a few months or a year `-o modern` should default to auth being enabled and looking for a file in some random path. Distro's should be free to default to using the option with a randomly generated token (or however they handle it for similar systems).
