There is a frequent problem with the fuel lines on the 606. Perhaps Rusty would have or make up a repair kit for it. I'm sure Marshall or somebody who owns a 606 will chime in with a more specific answer, but I don't think it's worth messing with the lift pump unless it has failed.

I've run about two tanks of pure vegetable oil through so far. The engine runs quieter (vegetable oil has better lubricity that dino diesel) and it starts much more quickly than it used to. My theory about that is the solvent qualities of the vegetable oil have cleaned out the injectors. --mf
