with all new parts.

Is this a 123 or 126 we're talking about? The 123 resistor pack is on
one of the fenders, IIRC. Big holey box with a bunch of hefty wirewound
resistors in it, they look like springs.

catalog but did find a picture of it in IMPCOs catalog. It looks like the
switch mounts on the back of the ignition module and might be possible to
replace without removing the module.

ran nicely for about 5 miles, albeit it smelled funny.
turns out veggie acts as kind of a solvent and does a nice job of bringing

There is a frequent problem with the fuel lines on the 606. Perhaps Rusty
would have or make up a repair kit for it. I'm sure Marshall or somebody who
owns a 606 will chime in with a more specific answer, but I don't think it's
worth messing with the lift pump unless it has failed.

I've run about two tanks of pure vegetable oil through so far. The engine
runs quieter (vegetable oil has better lubricity that dino diesel) and it
starts much more quickly than it used to. My theory about that is the
solvent qualities of the vegetable oil have cleaned out the injectors.

An ohmeter, one that reads low ohms usefully. Measure
across each 'spring', each ought to have continuity.
You can see any deformation faults, also, so if there's
continuity on each one and it passes visual inspection...

Apparently not. The cable acts as a kind of worm gear which works the oil
back out again.
