Unclip the fan shroud, otherwise you may get the fan stuck in it, you have to lift pretty high to get them in. Right side is a pain, you must be underneath, and that is where all the oil leaks run through, quite messy. Left side accesable from the top for the top bolt. Make sure you get the

My Dad had Pontiacs when I was young. I remember his '61 Safari Wagon, that I drove most of the time, had seat belts. Maybe they were an option that year. And the early 70's Catalinas or Bonnevilles had shoulder belts. He also had a '69 2 dr Catalina with a ~400 cubes and a 3 on the tree.
