I recently did it on my '82 300SD. The gearbox on your car is identical.
Simple job.Lift car high enough to get under it.
Make sure position of steering arm is marked. If not, mark it.
Remove sterring arm with puller.
Remove internal Circlip.
Drill small hole (1/8") in to seal and screw in wood scr

Yankee comeyahs but the rest are probably good Suthrun cars. There was
a coupe or two amongst them. Don't know what he would want for them, or

Where I live "Scrap It" will come get the chassis for free and still pay the
scrap weight. I'm sure they pay a low rate or cheat a bit but it seems like a

Just to verify, this is the Chrysler servo system? When one of the vacuum
pods under the dash leaked too much to actuate, the ACC in my '78 450SLC
would default to full heat, IIRC. I never tried to fix it - so don't even
know which pod it was (or how many might be more accurate).
