Ok, I did the ozone generator for 24 hours. Holy Cow! All smell gone. It ha a little chlorine smell but the instructions said that would go away in 24 hours. Did a real good cleaning of the interior. Turned 5 rags black, yuck. Put crack filler on the seat last night and will sand it this

I would agree with Jim. There are boatloads of 450SLs around here all the time, as I think they come to Florida to retire. Nearly all fall in the range of years that were grossly detuned due to EPA requirements, and as a result are complete dogs from a performance standpoint, not to mention

When you are not longer requried to pass emissions standards, ditch the converters and put the cam from the 68-72 M117 in them. Fixes a large number of problems. Set the mixture as lean as you can, and if you can raise the rear end, that will help too (although you will then have a goofy

Depends on what we're putting them in. I just got some funny branded ones at Advance for my Ranger, ~$13 apiece but they work real good. A 123 car and anything with a mono-wiper gets Bosch, NO EXCEPTIONS. IIRC a 123 car takes an 18 blade and the Bosch must be metric because they're about 1/4
