I wonder how an old Mercedes diesel would fare in a demolition derby?
Checked several derbies on youtube but didn't see any Mercedes.

You do realize that oil pressure is determined primarily by the main bearing
clearances, don't you? Slapping a new oil pump in the car is likely to be a
waste of money and time.

Replace the fittings on the oil feed lines to the camshafts.
They do go bad, and if the rear one on the drive's side blows out you
can have seriously low oil pressure at idle.
The low oil pressure can also be caused by a scored seat on the relief
valve in the oil filter housing that limits

it has that typical rust in the area between the trunk lid and under where the
top sits. Mostly surface but does have a couple of pin hol

When I was looking for a S210 hitch, the best anybody in USA seemed to make for
it was class
I've talked with them and they have a hitch that fits perfectly but again
they sell hitches. I just wondered if any of you guys have had any
experience in towing with this particular model. I forgotten now what he
says the towing capacity is. I think I'll call him back.

Have you searched on line for a hitch? Try the Uhaul website to get an idea of
what they say about the towing capacity.
