Dish soap in a spray bottle... very handy way to get good coverage and lubricate all the parts so they slip together.. Doesn't take much when it's applied with a spray bottle.. Once assembled.. I like to wash the area down with plain water from another spray bottle to remove excess soap residue,

Scrap metal of all kinds is currently at a historic low. So low, in fact that 3 large scrap yards here went bankrupt and their assets were sold at auction. Sound advise would be for her to call the knackers for a quote on whole car price and value.. before going further..

Is $200 still a sorta correct price for a scrap vehicle? Some local woman has a a 97 ford explorer, and a 2000something dodge ram 1500 she wants to scrap, I told her it might be better to put them on CL for $500 as parts vehicles then settle on $350 or so, not have to fool with getting them
