very simple. Nothing electronic. If you find one with a manual
transmission and manual windows it is about as simple as a vehicle gets.

The brakes thing bothers me...
I don't have a problem with 200,000 miles. My 1.9l Jetta TDI has 292,000+ miles
now and still starts on the first compression stroke. It starts way better cold
than any MB diesel I've ever had but its DI so its not a really good
comparison. My '85 190D had over 30
