I could only get one of them replaced on my 98. I was never able to loosen the
top bolt on the passenger side mount. Guess I need to take another swing at it
some day.

marketplace in Flagstaff a few weeks ago. It was complete and appeared to be in

These things are unstoppable. My granddaddies both had old Ford tractors I
remember driving. He mentions in the vid you can buy repair kits at any farm
store. He actually didn’t do much to get it running besides cleaning it up, a
new coil was the most prominent part. Not a lot to them.

The ultimate beauty of old tractors is that there isn't much to them. One of
the guys in the snowmobile club mows trails for us with an 8n and a 3pt bush
hog. I've been tempted to get one for the farm, the 3pt is danged handy.
Quite a bit smaller than my Farmall Super M but would use a lot less
My grandfather, a mechanic, hated Ford tractors. Said he saw too many
of them at the shop. (Not sure if he calibrated against numbers produced
and in the field.) He bought a Minneapolis Moline UTS when he got one.
And later, a Farmall 200.

So I go out and gave the thing a yank and it lit off first pull and ran ok but
a little rich it smelled like. I’ll try it again in a minute to see if it will
start hot.
I checked on whatever this lever is that comes out the back of the engine and
goes to the carb and twiddled with it. Seems to
Won’t start hot now. The lever on back is fully actuated whereas it wasn’t when
it was running. I probably need to bypass the automatic “convenience “ devices
and just do choke and throttle manually as g-d intended.

The aux fans on the 95E320 were not coming on, engine temp gets up there
after the car sits while running but stays sorta OK when driving.
I fooled around with it before with no joy. A bit of research today
said pull the connector off a coolant temp switch next to the
thermostat. I did that
