My LG dryer has had a thumping noise since I bought it. It was a sales floor
model so I got a good price on it. Always meant to open it up and see what was
making the noise, but years later it's still running fine and hasn't gotten any
worse, so maybe they just sound like that.
It has a steam
The freshly married kids rent a townhouse very near us. We both have the same
landlord. I feel I mentioned he is a really nice guy but not at all handy. As a
result, I fix everything and just give him receipts.

Our Maytag front loader has been throwing a random error code that is a drain
error. The last few times it is doing it all the time and won’t drain all the
way. I pulled the front bottom cover and near the pump is a sump with a screw
in cover. Remove the cover and there is a lint trap of sorts.
Our dryer has been really noisy lately. I was thinking maybe a bearing was
failing but it wasn't a growly noise. Today I finally got to take it apart and
have a look.
Inside I found that stuff that escapes the drum collects just beside the fan
and somehow a 4" wood screw had managed to wedge
No damage, just an engine failure, no big deal...

cameras. I go in and see there are events, but the app never digs my phone. I
