Idiot came running full speed into my fender, tried to jump over the

A bit of a turd but a new water pump should get the engine sorted. Wheels and
tires are worth quite a bit. Would be fun to thrash a bit

It occurs to me that an M130 with a mirror-polished valve cover would make
a dandy powerplant for such a kit car. Plenty of show, adequate go
(particularly if it's fuel-injected and supercharged)...

Good points.
I’ve always had a soft spot for the W170, which is far more plebeian, but still
retains some of the pre-war “swoopiness” that cars of that era did so well.
Sadly, even a beater 170 is becoming unobtanium, too, although not to the level
of what you describe.
