I went to George first, and he quoted me $285 plus core deposit for a 84
300td.
After lots of searching, I got a refurbished OEM amp instead of the
aftermarket one.
Why do you think I was kidding? was I had?

the speedo reads low.
It never occurred to me that the difference in speed reading from the
original to the replacement could be due to the diff.
I thought all w123 speedos were geared alike.
It appears I may have to try to resurrect the original speedo.

I reinstalled the amp and it hold cruise for about a minute, then
disengages. The accelerate function works ok.
So now I'm looking for a replacement 13 pin amp, part #7932.
Anyone got any ideas where I can find one?
