I carried a Glock 19 daily for many years, and this is the first I'm
hearing of a self-firing one. The only "failure" I'm aware of is the
tendency to go full auto. That happened at the range once. But even then
it was easy to control.
If a trigger catches on any weapon it may fire. Even a pocket p
Hadn't heard that they could go "full auto." That would be a surprise I imagine.
I don't own any pistols -- my understanding is that Glocks don't have a

Semi-auto guns have MORE parts in them to ensure that they don't fire
again when they close back up, unless the trigger is cycled again.
But if something's broken... No worse surprise than finding a semi-auto

There were some comments FWIW in another post about this incident that referred
to a Glock, 32? maybe ( I know nothing about Glocks), that apparently was prone

of the bang switch, no issues. Catch ANYTHING on the trigger (ie hoodie string)
it's going to go bang. The only modern firearm that has had issues with
unintentional discharge WITHOUT the trigger being operated is the

target but shot off his “groin” before he could do the other guy.
The most curious aspect is that it happened at 630AM. The bangers aren’

Also my guess is he hit his femoral artery and bled out quick. Blowing his c*ck
off would be unpleasant for him but probably not fatal.
