Not at all, but a little pimpy with the wheels and headlights. Otherwise, a
pretty nice example.

Not 100% ridiculous for the times in which we live.

If I got the VIN, is anyone on the list friendly with a dealer? I don't
have one locally (nearest is Carmel, ~75 miles) or is there an online
resource that will report on recalls/service actions that have not been
carried out? Does Carfax do that?

The '02 Odyssey transmission failed at around 190K miles, and the '06
Element at 213K miles. In particular the '02 Odyssey was known for

No, the AC was trouble-free on both ('02 Odyssey and '06 Element) for me.

Too high, but then I am a cheap b*stard. The harmonic balancer is a V8 issue, I
believe. I prefer the "facelift" W210 (2000-2002 03 for wagon) for various
reasons. Worst issue with these is rust. I had a whole punch list of
maintenance items on these that get neglected. Most are pretty minor ite

I ask because some time ago I was considering an early 2000s Honda for someone
and I recall there being a lot of complaints about AC systems grenading on a
regular basis. Since AC is a critical system
I want to sell this 99 E320 I have, body is really good, no dings, paint
pretty good, tires OK, interior pretty good, carpets could use a shampoo
to get out some coffee stains it came with. Headliner is of course
sagging in the back. A solid 28mpg in mixed driving. I replaced the

it's maybe a $4K car at best so I've been indecisive about spending the
money and time on a major repair. Maybe I should sell it as-is/for parts
and move on.
Maybe, if a good deal came along. I don't really need another
car at the moment but probably will within the next year or so.

I’ll expound a bit here…
I have found the W210s to be the perfect utilitarian Mercedes. If well treated
and obtained with a reasonable amount of miles on them, they’re pretty darned

Seems maybe $500 high or so?
Am I correct that could have spring perch issues and possibly harmonic

I can’t speak for spring perch issues, but if you get the VIN a dealer can tell
you if the harmonic balancer has been replaced.
If the underside isn’t rusty, it looks like a really nice example for the
money. I like to look at things like the instrument cluster to see how dirty
they are, as it’
