We tried lubricating with the old standby - saliva, but that didn't help. The press/vise idea sounds best so far, perhaps also with heat and a lubruicant. Yes- the SIL is capable of feats unknown to mankind. He wasn't raised with any exposure to working with his hands or mechanics, but really want
