For its stupidity and the way it was conducted, Vietnam was a national

BTW, tumbler fell apart as I removed it from protective cylinder. Front
face was broken off and several small pieces of sheared/broken metal fell
out. I could tell it had been broken a long time. It's a wonder it worked
at all. I was extremely lucky to get it turned to #1 position one last
time
Congratulations Wilton and thanks for sharing all the details with us.
BTW, I worked on the engines of those B-52s you flew, I must be good because
you're still here, you're welcome. (grin)

Congratulations on getting the tumbler out! One thing I've learned
the hard way (and this only applies IF the steering lock on the W124
is made in the same way as the 123/126) is that after replacing a
tumbler on two cars, I had a steering lock problem soon after. With
my cars it was re

small panel around the switch (37L). Thnx.
