I found diluting hydrogen peroxide (normal drug store stuff) with water and
spritzing offending spots would clear up a stench. For a Reek, I needed to add
UV and alternate hydroxy and diluted hi-test rubbing alcohol spritz. Old wash
cloth to draw out excess moisture after letting it settle
Hydrogen peroxide and Dawn dish detergent for skunks. Done it many times.
The other one that our (sadly now deceased) dog liked to roll in was deer poo.
At least that's what we think it was.

OT odor issue:
Gave the dog a bath yesterday evening. It's a game we play. I scrub her
with nicely scented shampoo, she finds something to roll in to get rid
of the shampoo smell.
Last time it was fresh wet horse poo. That won her a duplicate bath.
Last night, at bedtime, it was skunk. So
You can't get rid of cigarette smell without a wash.
Probably more than one. THEN you can play with
ozone, coffee, etc.

If you guys remember Tarek, I bought his 1995 S500 coupe when UPS shipped him
off to mainland China.
Unbeknownst to me before I bought it, he must have smoked like a chimney. That
car reeked of cigarette smoke, so badly you could smell it when you stood
outside by an open door.
I ran an ozone
Windex is mostly ammonia with some surfactant and color.

A good plan when there is just an odor, if it's cigarette stench the schmoo
that is glued onto everything needs to be removed before the stink will go away.
Last year I had trouble with water intrusion into the back of my 2010 Dodge
RAM. I finally discovered that the third brake light was
Open can of the cheapest ground coffee and leave it in the enclosed area
that needs deodorizing. Worked for me.

Yup, the magic of Windex.
I bought a lantern one time and when I opened the box the STENCH of cigarette
smoke was overpowering. I put the open box outside and soaked it in Windex.
Gloved up and pulled the lantern out, gave it a good wipe down with more Windex
and it finally didn't stink too
I found that liquid Windex removed cig residue and smell from used darkroom
equipment - it seems that all the used equipment I bought came from
smoker's darkrooms. Scrubbing with a brush or rag soaking wet with Windex
did the trick in one treatment.

My parents gave me my first two cars, both of which had been smoked in. The
first, a 1984 Ford Tempo, I made a solution of white vinegar and water and
scrubbed everything with a sponge until the water got so nasty I couldn't stand
it. I think I went through 6 or 7 buckets of water, maybe 2
I saw on this FB group that the way to get cig smoke smell out of old furniture
is to take cheap vodka in a spray bottle and spray it all over to kill the
odor. Don’t knowing it would work for cat pee or what

I forgot about the enzymatic cleaners, we've used one for quite awhile for
"dog stains". Our kitchen used to be carpeted and I swear the dog would save
up, come inside and barf on the rug...
I don't know if I've told the story here but literally the week I bought our

I like cats, and I bet I could smell it anyway. And hate it.
Take bench with you, and sink it in a local river and pin it down with rocks.
Enjoy your day at the river. Bring it back home and dry it
Have had good results from the enzymatic pet stain cleaners. but have only used
them on dog pee. You can find them at any pet store. You really have to get the
spot soaking wet and let it sit for a while, just spraying the surface won't do
much.
Ammonia makes sense. It does have a strong smell
Cat pee is the WORST. We rented kayaks last year that smelled faintly of cat
pee but only when the wind blew just right, or the inside of the kayak was wet.
At one point I sank mine to rinse out the inside, didn't help.
I've been told that, counterintuitively, the cure for cat pee is ammonia. I
