It's not that difficult.
You just need to remove the cover plate and bar the engine over until the hex
plug lines up with the opening.
You're only getting about half the fluid out if you don't drain the converter.

There is only one torque converter. Turn the crankshaft until the recessed hex
plug is visible through the bottom window and have at it. As long as you
remember to remove your socket wrench from the bottom crank bolt before
starting the vehicle you will be fine.

Who diagnosed it? Motor is most reliable part of the system,
before that come switch, regulator, and hinge wire problems.
No real difficulty change, unless it's the switch.
I would be concerned about the AC having a leaky evaporator. Not sure if this
is an issue in your part of the world.

Congrats! Also look for worn suspension. If the rear wheels lean in at the
top, price in replacing the control arms.
Problem 1 is usually easy.
Problem 2 is a new one, I'd suspect the stalk.
