I had no idea this was a cult classic. For comparison's sake - this is above what a pristine 300TD would sell for. As one observer commented:
"This is an original Grand Wagoneer with almost a hundred and fifty thousand miles on it. They were notorious for leaking oil from the front and rear main seals. As a result, most engines needed work at a hundred thousand miles unless they were well maintained. Expect to spend some money on the engine. This is an all original Wagoneer with some cosmetic upgrades and no mention of significant engine work. I have owned several of these, and I found the low mileage ones to be much preferable. However, they are gorgeous, and once you’ve owned one and then sell it you will want another one in six months. Windows, especially the rear tailgate, are finicky. And expect the automatic door locks to lock two or three doors, and not always the same ones until you flick the switch multiple times. Quirky, beautiful, and addictive." http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1988-jeep-grand-wagoneer-2/ _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
