Oh I see he replaced the trans already so that might indicate the control module, it is under the steering wheel under the dash, easy to get to, swap one from a junker with a 722.6 (millions out there).  Or it could be a wiring problem, they might have buggered up something. I have this 99ML32

You need to buy a scanner that will read the trans codes.  Some of the cheap OBDII bluetooth things that plug in then talk to an app on your phone might pick up those codes; otherwise get an iCarsoft for $150.  A bad conductor plate will show codes for many/all the solenoids being bad.  I can't
