Mrs. Dan’s family is from the area south of Somerset, where this car is
located. They seem to be in a band where snow is not common, but does occur
occasionally. They also tend to get things like ice storms as the climate
around there seems to be somewhat transitional between seasons.

I noticed that only two States seem to encompass both ends of the
scale range. I live in one of them, by far the northernmost that contains
the lowest bracket. East of the Rockies, those aforementioned parts of
KY look to be northernmost least-snowiest bits.
