That oil cooler was how we learned that a 240D does indeed require an oil
cooler. Mine was fine unless you wanted to drive faster than 65mph then it
would heat up...

I bet it is but it'll depend on which car exactly. There are at least 3
versions for a 240D:2 ports at the bottom1 port bottom, 1 port top large1 port
bottom, 1 port top small
My '78 had the last one, my '83 had the middle, I've got one of the tops I
bought from a list member (OK Don maybe?)
