Transfer pump (AKA Lift pump) A Bosch injection shop should be able to
rebuild the pump, or new ones are available. There is an isuzu one that
looks like it would work.

Any competent Bosch injection pump shop can rebuild an MW pump. You can buy
larger elements for it from dieselmeken, but not much point without an
intercoler plan.

I t also sounds like an air leak to me. One W115 I had came with a hole
worn in the steel line where it entered the engine compartment from rubbing
on the frame. I'd inspect every inch of that line first. Cut it a splice
with a short piece of fuel hose and two clamps if you find the spot. Note
Gas cap/vent?

I'll throw the WVO wet-blanket, and pronounce your injection pump dead.
Time for a new injection pump is my guess. Look at it this way, you did
get many many miles from the car on WVO, saving fuel costs. Now it is time
to spend some of those savings.
Test: check a delivery valve or two for
No hot start on a W123 turbo is likely an over-adjusted rack dampener bolt.
That IP is prone to engine vibration at at idle as the dampener spring ages and
it can get pretty bad.
On a high milage car, if you adjust out ALL the longitudinal vibration with the
engine cold, you will reduce the
My starting issue that resembles yours occurred when vehicle was at operating
temperature. If I shut it off it would not restart until the engine cooled for
about 30 minutes. This generally only happened during the summer time. It was

Sounds like an air leak in the fuel system, I'd vote for primer pump but you
say you just put a new black one on it?
Did all this start right after you put new primer pump on? Maybe you got a
defective one?
Your compressor issues: did you flush out the shrapnel from the last compressor
and put
If that’s a turbo check the hose coming off the back of the intake manifold
that goes to the ALDA. If it or the fitting hole on the manifold is clogged the
car can quite sluggish.
