Idle with A/C on would drop. Idle control maintains same RPM so it's
working if you don't notice it!

Howdy -
Is there some kind of control that maintains the idle rpm when the AC is
turned on? Seems like there should be something to account for the extra
load on the engine so the engine doesn't stall --

The EDS, electronic diesel system? That's what's in the SDL.
Hooks to the tachometer signal,
I've wondered this for a long time because I've never noticed an idle up
with AC on.
My 123 never did it and my 124 doesn't.
