I have a 6 gallon, and I suppose I just inherited my dad's 10 gallon.
For short distances, a couple of 50' hoses come in handy.

getting some pneumatic tools. Initially, it will just be airing up bike tires
and blowing sawdust off of projects.

My compressor calls for 30 weight non-detergent oil. I found some

Do not use anything but the oil specified by your manufacturer!
Especially a detergent oil like M1! What happens is that the additive
package breaks down and gums up the works.
Oil doesn't wear out! The additives do and leave a mess of gunk behind.
At the very least use a non detergent single
