Nope - 16k miles - cruised at 160mph, drank 16 gal/hr. remember how often, every 100 hours? About like a car then, that'd be some 6 kmi. By that I mean that 100 hours in a car might be some 5-6kmi, which is a normal change interval. Of course you go further in a plane in that time! -- Jim _

But, what do you do with a 55 gallon barrel of engine oil? Even with the miles I drive, it would take me 3.5 years to consume 55 gallons at 5000 mile changes & I drive 45,000 miles / year! Yeah, three-five years. So what? If you've got the room and it's cheaper why not. Less handling, too. -
