I have found that the bikes for sale at the dealer are in great shape. These are those older ones that get traded in and were serviced by the dealer for ages. They go for little money and are worth every penny. I got my last bike from the dealer in Aloha OR to replace a newer bike I

I have not been in the market for many years, but it is simiilar to 123 diesels. Some are abused, some are neglected, some are decent, and some are flawless. you need to be sure you get what you pay for. I just checked the BMWMOA website, and there are a few R models in the $2000 price
