It reminds me of a manager at a Piper plant on the east coast of Florida I was
talking to during the Vietnam war. Piper had some sort of military contract
back then.
"They sent me down here, gave me a bunch of minimum wage orange pickers, and
expected me to build airplanes.", he said. Never ran
I have heard the workforce is not quite capable. The state sold the deal with
big tax incentives but can’t deliver the workers
