We were headed out of town last weekend in the e300d and halfway up to the pass
the throttle linkage snapped. Real pain in the rear, but lucky enough that AAA
got us to the closest dealer for service on the holiday weekend. More luck was
that they had rentals available, so we swapped for a 200

Had the Bluetec diesel been available, even at the $1000 premium, I would
have given it serious consideration. But, it's not. Probably in a year or so
