Well he was probably remembering the fact that it was one of THE best
running turbodiesels you would be likely to find, anywhere.
Had I known where prices were headed, at the time, I probably would have
fixed it.

The Paint supplier I talked with said the clear coat is to protect the
paint ( road chips) and most importantly add that depth to the paint
color
You do not have to apply a clear coat .

Some auto paint suppliers will mix paint/clear coat in spray bottles
. ask them for a professional point of view .

lightly sand the overspray, then compound the whole area. Haven't
