The box says 126, you counted 126 on the new chain, I'd say you got the
wrong part number. Rusty's site calls out

Seemed like a good day to do it.
So I pulled out the little orange box that I got from my sister the same
time I bought the car from her.
Just like the manual says, I pulled the new chain in as the old one came
out. So far so good.
