asking over twice this price and it was not in really good condition

There's an '84 here in Portland for $5000. I've seen it drop steadily over
the past few months from it's original posted price of $6500.

Yep. It was a pretty hot engine for its day. 2.4L IDI turbo straight six,
HP was between a 617 turbo and a 603 turbo. (130 or 135hp IIRC)

I believe the engines were made by Steyr Puch. Apparently they were
prone to head cracks. Nice cars--I'd buy one.
