In the ad he said that the driveshaft was shortened, balanced, and a new
u-joint installed. Are there different springs for the different engines
due to the different weights of them?

Suspension would be the same, driveshaft may or may not be different, not sure.
Just do not recall seeing an older 617 transplanted into a later 126.

Well, if he transplanted a 126SD into a 126SEL it should have all the correct
parts except maybe the front suspension. $3k seems slightly high, if you'd
prefer an all origin
