I scrounged a few of the data plates with the manuals at PnP. The original
customer names were stamped in the metal. I think it was so they could swipe
it like with old school credit cards to imprint on the work orders and
receipts. Both Froggy and Gump had the plates.

used by a lot of car dealers back in the day. They stamped it with all of the
owner’s information, then when the car was brought it they put the plate in a
machine like the ones they used to use for credit card slips
Interesting. Maybe so.
It’s the rare 6-cylinder 450 too!
