Maybe the owner just got tired of paying them to fix stuff.  It can get spendy paying a good shop if an owner can't do the work. Looks like a decent car though, would probably take a LOBALL offer at this point.  I have not done 124 wheel bearings but I can't imagine that would be too hard,

This has been on CL for easily a month, and is in my immediate neighborhood (Valrico). Not sure what the deal is, but something must be up with it as it hasn’t sold at that price. The reference to Ledbetter’s is a good thing, as they are the absolute gold standard for an MB independent shop

This could be a good deal on a 124 gasser wagon, work is nothing too crazy except for that blower motor maybe.  Max knows these well. Engine, transmission, A/C all good. Drives well. 3rd row seating. Owned for 18 years. Needs blower motor, paint, wheel bearings and misc components. Serviced
