I’m all for paying for a good quality tool, for sure. I’ve got some Hazet
wrenches in my collection that are simply amazing when it comes to durability
and ergonomics. If I was making a living with my tools I could certainly
justify it. For those of us who are DIYers it’s a bit

My brother, a (now-retired) professional mechanic. He was willing to pay
for the lifetime warrantee, on a tool good enough to rarely need replacement,
and daily delivery to his workbench via the tool truck if it did.
That guy needs to lay off the Mountain Dew and caffeine. And who in their right
mind would pay $40 for a single combination wrench?
