I wonder how hard it would be to back-fit a 124 car with a re-build-able
monovalve from a 123 or 126. Anyone have two "on the shelf" to make a

that the electrical characteristics are close enough to not make a
difference, but
BTDT. It can look good but function imperfectly. Get an OEM monovalve
insert from a dealer. Dan knows a cheap source.

Every one I've seen that failed had torn rubber that was obvious at
inspection. Remove insert, and look for tears! (These are the 107/123/126
units.)

Can you disassemble and inspect the rubber? (I don't think anyone sells
replacement rubber diaphragm for 124 monovalve)

Is there any easy way to test a monovalve out of the car to check the
diaphragm?
12V on and off will prove the magnet and slide (thunk, or no thunk)
But is there a way so see if the valve Functions?
