timing chain. I'll look deeper. The car looks great inside and out, but as we
know appearances can be deceiving. I need to do a direct contact with the
seller and look at it in person.

Later OM642 were supposed to have defective timing chains, but I don't think
that applies to 2008.
Early ones have oil cooler leaks and maybe bad intake manifolds I believe.
