The neighbor up the hill who has been involved in a complicated acquiring of a somewhat thrashed 560 SL backed out of the deal. The seller wanted him to sign two bills of sale, one for the true price ($5750) and the other for $1000. Turns out he spent a few years in jail for fraud as a co-owner
