I assume they started with a whole duck. It was tasty, but the skin was very
tough when
compared to a chicken. I think I would have preferred chicken, but that was
not to be. My
family had the brisket, which was excellen
I can smoke 8 chickens at a time in my smoker, and will usually do so when the
mood strikes. We’ll eat one for dinner that evening and freeze the rest. Smoked
chickens are yummy and i doesn’t take long to do them.

In previous trips I have had central BBQ which was pretty good. Also had a
company dinner at the rendezvous down town years ago. It was pretty good too.

Some years ago I went to a barbecue place a coupla times in West Memphis
(in Arkysaw across the river) called Ray's right off I-40. Ray ran the
place and the Q was excellent. It burned down and h moved somewhere
else. I don't know if this is current or not, looks like the place it
was years
